| The most famous coastal city |

| Haeundae Beach is probably the most famous beach in the country. The name "Haeundae" was named by a scholar and is 1.5km long, 30~50m wide, with an area of 58,400 ㎡ . The white sand is rough and is composed of sands that come from Chuncheon Stream and shells that have disintegrated naturally by the wind over a long time. Haeundae Beach is also famous for the various cultural events and festivals held throughout the year. At Haeundae Beach there is a Folk Square where you can enjoy traditional games such as Neoldduigi (seesaw jumping), Korean wrestling, Tuho(arrow throwing), tug-of-War and yutnori. There is also the Beach Culture Center and the Beach Library. Numerous people visit every year from June to August. |

| Pusan International Film Festival - The largest film festival in Asia! This film festival (PIFF) began in 1996 in Busan and is held annually, usually around September ~ November. It is PIFF's 12th year this year and PIFF will showcase a total of 275 films from 64 countries, 193 of which are world, international or Asia premieres. Especially, the fact that 11 films in New Currents section are all either world (8) or international (3) premieres proves PIFF's role as the gateway for new Asian talents to success in the film industry. Also 10 among 70 films in World Cinema section are world or international premieres, which reaffirms PIFF's prestigious status |

| Sea Sports - There is a Yachting Center in Busan which hosted the yachting games of 2 Asian Games in 1986 and 2992. Water motorcycling, windsurfing and water skiing are available at the beaches at low costs. Scuba Diving is also available butut with high cost. There are many fishing points where you can get a thrilling experiences catching fish, the popular spots are at Gadeokdo Island , Imnang Beach , Dadaepo Beach , Haeundae etc. |

- You may need extra ones when you interview with the Korean Consulate or get notarization from Korean Consulate (For Canadians), so please order some extras.
- Criminal Record Check with Apostille Stamp
- Should be done on a state or national level and verified by an apostille
- Applicants from Canada or other countries that do not have an agreement with the Apostille Convention should submit a criminal record check notarized by the Korean Consulate/Embassy (you need one sealed university transcript); however, Korean residents who have a criminal record check from one of the foreign diplomatic offices in Korea are exempt from the apostille verification process
- Verification should be issued by official institutions (of the applicant's government in his/her country or by foreign diplomatic offices in Korea) and must have been issued within 6 months at most before submitting all the required documents.

- The exact start and end dates of your contract with your current or previous employer must be mentioned in the letter. Ex) from September, 2008 to August, 2009.
- One school year is acceptable (two semesters)
- Proof of 2 or more years of teaching experience is required for a Level 1 Teacher
- Proof of 1 year of teaching experience is required for a Level 2 Teacher
- Copy of Citizenship or a Copy of Legal Residence Certificate (for Korean Nationals)
- If English is not your first language (born in a non-English speaking country), then you must be able to provide proof of English education beginning from junior high school level.
